The government has announced £4 million of funding for businesses to develop cutting-edge ideas to address some of the biggest health problems of our time.
North East Transformation System
The North East Transformation System (NETS) is a model used by NHS North East to lead continuous quality improvement and identify waste and inefficiencies in many processes that are part of the healthcare experience. The NETS initiative is currently being hosted by Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust.
NETS is a term used to describe the improvement currently being undertaken within the NHS in the North East region and aims to place people living in the region and patients of NHS North East at the centre of its system.
HIEC NE is particularly interested in supporting NETS whose philosophy it believes will become more important as the NHS is faced with efficiency savings.
