North East and North Cumbria apply to become an Academic Health Science Network

In response to the recent announcement by the Department of Health to create 'Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs)', the North East and North Cumbria have submitted an application to become an AHSN.

This event saw speakers from the Department of Health, Proctor & Gamble, Vygon, MDTi, and local business Curb Office Ltd present their perspectives and experiences about innovations and procurement in the NHS.

Richard Gleave (Director of Programmes, NHS South of England) also presented on the governments proposals to create 'Academic Health Science Networks'.

This event was hosted by RTC North Ltd and the Innovation Pathway North East.
