iTAPP Innovative Technology Adoption Procurement Programme

HIEC NE has been invited to be a member of the NHS North East Procurement, Investment & Commercial Directorate (PICD) Group to facilitate the procurement, implementation, adoption and diffusion of innovative medical devices identified by the Department of Health PICD programme, recently renamed as the Innovation Technology Adoption Procurement Programme (iTAPP). An emphasis has been placed on integration with the local QIPP agenda. NTAC (NHS Technology Adoption Centre) has been allocated the contract to work with the regional Strategic Health Authorities (SHAs) to facilitate this process.
